Bot
A bot is a computer program that plays poker. Bots are highly controversial since they are seen as a threat to online poker. If there were too many successful bots, the games would become incredibly difficult to beat.
Bots are against the terms and conditions of online poker rooms, and poker rooms will shut down players they suspect to be bots.
