Betting a strong hand very forcefully in order to win a huge pot. Often, this means you will put your opponent all-in.
This also can mean killing another player’s spirits by beating him or her into submission. For example, if a player consistently loses over a night and loses a lot of his/her money, that player may be considered ‘broken.’
